Event: How to encourage academic research in the fields of innovation and LegalTech

On Wednesday 9 June 2021 the Innovation in Law Studies Alliance (ILSA) will be hosting a webinar entitled ‘How to encourage academic research in the fields of innovation and LegalTech’. During the webinar, the speakers will answer questions such as:
- Is your university promoting research in fields related to Innovation, legal technology and the future of law?
- In what fields related to Innovation and Legal Tech do you think that we need more research?
- Can you share with us relevant experiences of your university in academic research in Innovation and Legal Tech?
Speakers include:
- Maurits Barendrecht: Research director at HiiL Innovating Justice and professor of innovation of justice systems at Tilburg University, The Hague, The Netherlands.
- Francine Ryan: Senior Lecturer in Law at The Open University and co-director of the Open Justice Centre, Warrington, United Kingdom.
The discussion will be moderated by María Jesús González-Espejo, President of ILSA and CEO of the Instituto de Innovación Legal.
