A two-part online training event to teach you the fundamentals of organisational storytelling and provide time and space to put them into practice, presented by Helene Russell.
This course is ideal for leaders who want to make their presentations more impactful and knowledge managers who want to facilitate the sharing of complex knowledge. Leadership can happen at many levels and this course is suitable for managers and leaders at all levels from senior leaders, to team leaders, to leaders in a specialist area of practice and project managers.

Learning Objectives
- Understand the science behind stories and why humans find them compelling.
- Learn how to differentiate between:
- a story and non-story
- a good story and a poor one
- the right time and place for a story
- the different tools and techniques for oral and written storytelling
- Find out how to identify stories which are suitable for sharing, craft your own stories to have ready to share
- Learn tips and tricks for impactful narratives
- Understand what knowledge sharing situations benefit from stories and when they are a time-wasting distraction
- Understand how storytelling can help with complex ‘unlearning’ and change management
- Consider the ethics of sharing stories and learn how to grow your own repertoire in a manner that suits you and your organisation.”
